Canine Good Citizen Class
The Canine Good Citizen (CGC) is a program sponsored by the AKC. In this program a certified AKC evaluator will score a dog, pass/fail, on a series of 10 different skills or tests. The tests are set up to mimic everyday situations which when accomplished by the dog will earn him the title of Canine Good Citizen. Mixed breeds are welcome. Upon passing the test you will receive a certificate from the AKC registering your dog in the program.
As well as teaching and perfecting the CGC skills the class will also introduce the AKC Novice Obedience exercises and the retrieve.
